We were engaged for full design services (architectural + interior design) to maximize the value for this single family property. Not only did we convert 640 square foot of garage space to habitable space (with new bedroom, family room, office, bar, & full bath), but through thoughtful planning, we unlocked the potential of the existing livable spaces, too.
First, we were able to modify one of the existing bedrooms into a Primary Bedroom with a new ensuite bathroom. Secondly, we reprogrammed the existing Guest Bathroom to maximize its utility. Next, we removed the existing barriers between the Dining Room & Kitchen to create an open social floor plan. Lastly, we accentuated the original center patio with a new 9-foot sliding door and three new windows to create a central beacon of natural light for the entire home.
